I apologise in advance for the length of this post. Please bare with me. Gerbil troubles?

im having a hard time. i have a 5 month old gerbil, ive tried everything to "train" it, usually if you tap a gerbils head when it bites and say "no" theyll learn to stop, its worked with my friends rat and hampster, and all my other gerbils. but this one is diofferent. we saved it from a bad pet store that had the needle in their hands to put it down as we walked in because it was "too old" it was 3 weeks old and they couldnt sell it and they didnt want it. ive tried everything to calm the poor guy down but nothing works, he barely eats, barely drinks, never plays, and does nothing but burries himself and sleeps for days on end, he dosnt even leave his nest to go to the bathroom, he just sits in his own filth. i have him in a 10 gallon well airated fishtank, which is biggger then they tell you to put them in (they say one to a 5 gallon, 2 to a 10 gallon or smaller, so he has plenty of space. if i try to clean the cage, take him out to clean it, or refill his dishes he bites...cont.

On your exercise program, start slowly so that your muscles do not get sore and again you don't want to overdo and you want your body to maintain it;s natural level of nutrients, iron and potium. If you start to feel run down or tired, you may need to increase your food intake a slight amount and take a good multi vitamin and do not start anything totally STUPID like taking laxatives, colon cleanse or making yourself throw up. Let your body do things naturally as it was intended. If you feel constipated eat more fiber, veggies and fruits with skins, lettuce, carrots, cabbage, etc. If you get d. then reverse the above. You want to go slow and let your body adjust to these changes so that the weight will stay off and not come back. Hope this helps. Remember go slow and be safe.

How come my iPod songs won't play properly?

i have an ipod nano 2g...i think. its the tallish slim one...not fat or thick. its like the new nano chromatic but more rectangular. i need some help on it. when i play some songs such as love game or dirty dancing, it plays for a while, then it would stop for a second then play from where it left off and that would continue on until the end. but it plays just fine on my iTunes. when i play Low by flo rida on my iPod, it stops at exactly 30 seconds and then skips to the next song. but that song plays just fine on my iTunes. what is happening?? please soomebody help me fix this problem. if it helps, i use a Windows XP. All these plants wont fit in that size container. The plants need space to grow. I would put the bee balm, scabiosa and phlox in it only. Maybe you can get another container to put the rest. You can plant them when you get it in September. Of course you wont see the plant flower until next year if you are living in the Northeast. Is a bill of $1700 excessive for a deep cleaning?

I went to the dentist Monday and they did a 'probe' of my gums and found that I had some 4mm pockets in my gumline and they showed me a bill of over $700 to 'clean' my teeth and gums. This was not the total bill, they charged my insurance about $1700! I flipped out! They then discounted it $200 for me so I paid over $500 to get my teeth cleaned. I think you have a point. Some authors just don't give us that little extra zing at the end. Grisham tries to just fuzzy-warm us at the end of his books, or like you said, the protagonist just "takes-off." Maybe he just doesn't know how to let go of a good character or story.

Why is candy bad for you?

I'm curious of the negative effects that candy can have on my body, other than the extra calories from eatting junk food. If you can be addicted to candy than I'd be the poster child. I don't think that I can go more than a day without eatting skittles, starburst, smarties, caramel, sweettarts, twix, or thousandgrand. Its not really the chocolet, but the sugar that I think I crave. Everyone tells me that I'd loose so much weight if I'd cut back on candy by 1/3 or drink a little less soda. And I know that they are right because I have really good portion sizes and I eat well balanced meals. But my weight isn't enough to make me give up candy and no one can give me a really good reason. So, if someone can help me understand why I should give up candy than I'd be happy. I can give up soda for a month and I have. After not drinking it for a month it was really gross. But I cant seam to give up candy. Please help me.

I think you should close your eyes and really start thinking of images for your poem. And let your mind wander and guide your hand across the page. That can be a brainstorm, until you finally have all your ideas together. Then, you can start putting it into stanzas (though by that time rhyming might actually kill the rhythm of your heart.)

Flags on any planets that we have gotten actual photographs of from one of the exploration flights. Be sure to give the information about them. When and where we got the photos. Single mom at wit's end and bottomless pit?

I'm 25 a single mom and a year and a half after a divorce due to ex husband cheating numerous times, I am left with sole custody of our daughter who is now 3. With no where to go and options VERY limited I am stuck with my parents. Yes, I am thankful that I can live with them BUT there are so many issues living with them that I almost think my daughter and I would be better at a homeless shelter (being my only other option at this point). This past year I've been in school trying to finish up towards my degree and had money from a student loan that helped with costs of living, so I was able to get my own small apt. for daughter and I. That fell through, and after moving over 3 times this year I am right back at square one at my parents. My mom has rx drug dependency and is groggy and sluggish most of the day and my dad tries to avoid being home by working or being gone. Both parents are emotionally unavailable and I have no one to turn to for advice, support, etc. My 3 year old does not listen to me whatsoever and I find myself so stressed out being around my parents that I am not able to raise her or give her what she needs right now. My mom undermines my disciple towards her and whenever I try to discipline her my mom automatically tells my daughter 'it's okay poor baby'. Like I'm the bad guy for teaching right from wrong. I lose my temper and just can't handle it. I dont know what to do anymore... I feel like a failure as a mother, a provider and as a person in general. I havent been able to find employment and with limited resources and a whole year of seeking istance and no luck my daughter and I are at the bottom of a pit right now. Everything seems hopeless and if i could just find a place for my daughter and I to live peacefully and without constant stress and me recieving verbal abuse from my mother I believe our lives could be somewhat normal or at least stable. How do i handle raising a 3 year old in this environment, when my mom pushes me to my wits end and no matter how hard to try to block it out it still gets to me. i just dont know where to turn to anymore, who to ask for advice or how to even keep going anymore!

The reason your back foot is landing and not your front foot is because your flicking hte front foot out way to much and your not giving it enough time to land back on the board. Quickly flick the board with your foot off the "pocket" of the nose, and flick it and while in air trying catching the board back with your front foot and back foot successfully landing it. You have to put 100% into the trick to commit you can't sissy out and put all your concentration in in your backfoot or only popping, level out with your board.

How to i keep mice out of my house. i I have in the country with grain fields around me .?

I have 3 cats and they are inside/outside cats. They only get mice when they are outside, not inside. I keep a very clean house and don't keep any clutter or food left out for long. We have tried to fix up any little holes or crevices around the house that they can get through. Still, every fall when the wheat and corn crops all around us are cut, they try their best to get in.
