My friends keep making fun of me. Help please!?

My friends keep on making fun of me because of my ambition to become a scientist. I've had them for 3 years and now they just stopped talking to me. I now eat lunch alone and when I get home all I do now is just play with my chemistry set and microscope because they always ignore my calls. I'm moving to a different high school next year, but I don't want to loose them forever. What should I do?
