3rd grade math brain teaser?

Claude always takes 10% off the manufactures price when clothes arrive in the store. Then after 7 days of an item being in the store he takes off an additional 25%. After 21 days he takes off additional 50%. ( my first question is does that mean he takes 25% then another 50% after another 2 weeks of it being a week in the store, so after the items been in the store for 3 weeks OR overall 50% after three weeks)
