How come my iPod songs won't play properly?

i have an ipod nano 2g...i think. its the tallish slim one...not fat or thick. its like the new nano chromatic but more rectangular. i need some help on it. when i play some songs such as love game or dirty dancing, it plays for a while, then it would stop for a second then play from where it left off and that would continue on until the end. but it plays just fine on my iTunes. when i play Low by flo rida on my iPod, it stops at exactly 30 seconds and then skips to the next song. but that song plays just fine on my iTunes. what is happening?? please soomebody help me fix this problem. if it helps, i use a Windows XP. Please, help me. I'm now a hopeless little hot girl.
