How do i get rid of a Virus Called W23/Blaster.worm on my windows XP?

I cant open most files on my comp like things iv downloaded,paint,i tunes,etc. and iv downloaded a program specialized to get rid of it but when i try to run it....GUESS WHAT?!?!?!?!?.......BLASTER STOPS IT!!! and it also says try to use it while in safe mod but when i try to switch my comp to safe mode it just restarts so i have to click safe mode again....and again...and again....Also iv heard of another way to get to safe mode by clicking start then run then typing msconfig but GUESS WHAT?!.....Blaster stops it!!!....THE ERROR CODE I GET IS THE "BAD IMAGE" ERROR AND IT ALSO SAYS SO AND SO IS INFECTED WITH BLASTER ON THE BOTTOM RIGHT OF THE SCREEN I HAVE WINDOWS XP AND A BUNCH OF SPYWARE FAKE CRAP THAT CONSTANTLY APPEARS ON MY COMP SOME PLEASE HELP........................NO BS ANSWERS PLEASE!!!!!!!
