Could i be damaging my hearing?

I too grew up with rock in my ears and now i pay small price i have lost hearing in my left ear at the two highest frequency's i am deaf and have trouble hearing certain tones because of it. i would say that yeah you will damage you ears but you need to know why? 1st anything over 85 db will cause damage with long term exposure.[all the time every day] Osha has a hearing safety standard that companys must follow to protect their employees.i would suggest you look into osha for that and read for yourself. sure wish to God I had, i love music and to sing and now it causes me not to be able to hear or sing certain notes. hope this helps
